Simply
Christian’s Online Sunday School™ is
made available to Fellowship UMC and the Center For Hope.

CRANBERRY TWP. — June
29, 2004— Simply Christian®, a ministry of Dutilh
UMC, recently donated a church web site and its Online
Sunday School™ to Fellowship United Methoidst Church's
Center For Hope in Ambridge PA. The Center For Hope provides
a broad range of services for Ambridge and the surrounding
areas.
"Simply Christian's Online
Sunday School has the ability to SPREAD the gospel
throughout our area because we have access to so many children." says
Emma Smith, Associate Pastor
and Associate Director of the Center For Hope.
The Center's FaithTech
group and the church's own computer training facilities now
make their
Online Sunday School (OSS)
available to their children not only on Sundays after worship, but anytime
the faciity is open. Additionally, families now have access to the church's
christian education material from their home computer any day of the week.
The center is also
working with Cranberry Township resident Dave Sevick, founder
and CEO of
Cross IT Services
. Mr. Sevick heads an effort to refurbish donated computers and provide
area residents with their own computer.
In a recent article
published in the Beaver County Times, Mrs Smith added, "All
of this fits in perfectly with the center's motto: Giving a
hand up, not a handout. This isn't intended to be a toy;
it's a tool," she said. "It's something that can
help out every person in the house."

UMC's Center For Hope and seeing a room full of children excited
about using and playing with the OSS was like seeing our vision
of connecting the next generation with the Word come true! We've
all felt God's hand at work here." says Marianne C. Ferrans,
