Simply Christian's Online Sunday School™ now being made available to over 2,400 churches!

CRANBERRY TWP. —  Mar. 01, 2005— The Baltimore-Washington Conference of the United Methodist Church ( BWC-UMC ) has teamed up with the shared ministry effort of the Western Pennsylvania Annual Conference ( WPAUMC ), Dutilh UMC of Cranberry Twp., PA ( Dutilh UMC ), and Simply Christian® to provide the Online Sunday School™ (OSS) to the 707 congregations of the Baltimore-Washington Conference (BWC).  The BWC marks the four conference partner now providing the OSS to their churches. The OSS is a way to help conference's provide their churches with the ability to connect the next generation with the Word of God with a set of online activities related to the weekly lectionary.  At the same time, churches gain the ability to both further their Sunday school program and their church's Internet presence. 

"The addition of the Baltimore-Washington Conference means our ministry is now being made available to over 2,400 United Methodist churches!", exclaims Marianne C. Ferrans. Marianne, the co-founder of Simply Christian, goes on to add "As each United Methodist conference to promotes the OSS with-in their conference we expect the number of church Sunday school programs, families, and children who will benefit from the OSS to increase dramatically throughout 2005.  Children today are computer literate. They use computers in their classrooms, homes, and libraries. Why not provide children with a way to connect to their church’s Sunday school?”
