Western
Pennsylvania Annual Conference
provides online children's Sunday school
to all the Conference's 900 churches.

CRANBERRY TWP. — Dec.
7, 2004— The Western Pennsylvania Annual Conference of
the United Methodist Church (
WPAUMC
) announced on December 4th that it has begun to make Simply Christian'sOnline
Sunday School™ (OSS) available to all 900 of the Conference's
churches.

In an announcement
made earlier this week, the Conference's Media Resource Director,
Mrs. Kim Shockley, said: "Christian children’s educational
material based on the United Methodist Lectionary is now available
free to the churches of the WPA Conference. Right now
your church’s children, parents, and teachers could further
their Sunday school experience from any computer! Teachers
can download lessons and activities. Children and parents can
log in any day of the week from any Internet connection to
follow up on Sunday's lesson."

The OSS is a great way for your church to further the
Sunday school experience for churches,
parents, teachers, and children. From the privacy of their own home or from
any computer, parents and their children can have access to their church's
Sunday school Bible readings and a suite of related interactive puzzles, quizzes,
and games. Teachers can download lessons and activities. The Bible reading
and activities are updated weekly, providing the children with a new and different
experience every week. The weekly readings are based on the Lectionary
Calendar or can be customized.
